I'm looking for some patterns for crocheted clothing, which I hope will be cool enough to cope with the current heatwave. I am finding that the t-shirts I am wearing get very sweaty when exercising, and thought that a more open fabric might do the trick.

Nessie,

where are you that the weather is suddenly so warm? You might want to try your local crafts store for some ideas if it's a regular annual temperature.

Otherwise a simple t-shirt using a treble/double pattern with regular single gaps would be very open and airy. Do be careful with the spacing of the singles though - don't want to scare the horses!

Anyone else have suggestions - I have to admit I'm also looking for new designs for cool tops
